Last week we launched a new website for BrandSmart. I'm a big believer that websites should do several things:
- Your website's design should reflect and reinforce your positioning and branding. For BrandSmart, we want our website to communicate "simple, smart and accessible." That's a reflection of what makes what we do unique and compelling.
- The benefits you offer should be clearly stated and easy to understand. People need to know what they can expect and why it matters to them.
- Your website should be easy to navigate. People don't like getting lost. Make it as simple and intuitive as possible.
- You should provide as much "experience" as possible on your site. People want to see and feel what their real-life experience is going to be like, so give them some examples to whet their appetite. We have tried to do this by providing a few samples of our work.
- You should give a clear call to action. What specifically do you want them to do? It should be simple and straight forward.
Take a few minutes to check out our new site and let me know what you think.
